Aria House
A family residence where a sculptural concrete staircase becomes the organizing element of the home.
Aria House is arranged around a central stair hall that functions as both circulation and sculpture. The staircase — cast in board-formed concrete — rises through three levels, its surface recording the texture of the timber formwork. Rooms branch from this spine, each one calibrated to its orientation: morning light for the kitchen, evening light for the living areas, and controlled north light for the study.

Board-Formed Concrete
Board-formed concrete walls and staircase retain the grain of their timber formwork, creating a tactile surface.
White Oak
White oak floors run through all living spaces, their pale tone reflecting light deep into the plan.
Glass
Frameless glass balustrades on the staircase preserve sightlines through the full height of the home.
Marble
Honed white marble in the bathrooms provides a moment of luminous contrast within the material palette.
